Refined Decor 2023

The “Salone del Mobile” in Milan has reached its sixty-first edition and ZEUS, once again as always since 1984, year of its foundation, will be happy to show you its novelties 2023. The company presents itself with a provocative theme, apparently far from its nature: REFINED DECOR.

If Refinement is an easily recognizable theme in the company’s catalogue, through the attention to details, hand welding and finishes, Decoration seems to be far from the brand’s design and aesthetic choices; despite this, ZEUS is ready to impress you with novelties totally faithful to its DNA and in line
with its catalogue.

The “Décor” concept is expressed in three stylistic lines; the first is a laser-cut graphic intervention that develops on the sheet steel tops of four low tables, a decoration that lives by itself or in combination when the products are placed side by side. SLIM CHARME low tables, designed by Conventi&Vazzana, present a refined decoration and the empty spaces give elegance and lightness
to the product. The addition of value is in the subtraction of matter, an ideological and stylistic oxymoron that finds its perfect achievement in this creation.

In the re-edition of the DINAMO mannequin, the decorative aspect is in the curved, almost anthropomorphic lines of the design, created by Mercatali/Pedrizzetti. Already in the 1986 ZEUS catalogue, this valet stand comes back to life after almost forty years, still showing itself as
contemporary and functional. “Objects must keep company” said Achille Castiglioni, and this is one of those products that excites and entertains at the same time, with its own character and functional aspect perfectly in line with the modern market.

Finally LIGHT STAR, a family of low tables and consoles designed by Franco Raggi, an architect already known to the brand addicted and to quality design in general. This product has its defining decorative element in the frame; the thin legs cross in a dynamic, light and minimal structure, in full
ZEUS style.

To the question “Do you speak design?”, the theme of the communication campaign for the 2023 Salone del Mobile, ZEUS answers “absolutely yes” in the most authentic and contemporary way possible: in a world oriented towards rediscovery of values such as slowness and manual skill, the
brand shows to be ready and constantly evolving, offering a careful and sustainable design, handmade in Italy by highly specialized artisans.

From April 17th to 23rd, at the historical Blue Garage in Corso San Gottardo, headquarter of ZEUS showroom, you will be able to touch the quality of all products and discover 2023 novelties.

ZEUS Design Store will host again this year the project DESIGN ENSEMBLE, selected brands that share the search for a synthesis between modernity and
tradition, with particular attention to the quality of the products presented.
